4 Legal Basis for Processing

5.1 Third-Party Service Providers. jilis shares personal data with carefully selected third-party processors who assist in delivering the Platform's services, including payment processors (GCash/GXI, PayMaya/Maya Bank), game software providers, cloud hosting infrastructure providers, identity verification services, and customer support tools. All processors are contractually bound to handle your data in accordance with this Policy and applicable Philippine data protection law.

5.2 Regulatory and Legal Disclosure. jilis may disclose personal data to PAGCOR, the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC), the National Privacy Commission, law enforcement agencies, or other government authorities where required by law, lawful order, or regulatory direction.

5.3 No Sale of Data. jilis does not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise commercially transfer your personal data to third-party advertisers, data brokers, or any party for independent marketing purposes.

5.4 Business Transfers. 10 Children and Minors

The jilis Platform is strictly for individuals who are 21 years of age or older, as required by PAGCOR regulations. jilis does not knowingly collect personal data from persons under the age of 21. If jilis discovers that personal data has been collected from an underage individual, the associated account will be immediately terminated and the personal data deleted, with any deposited funds returned to the verified legal guardian following satisfactory documentation. Parents and guardians who become aware of a minor accessing jilis should contact us immediately at the details provided in Section 13.

11 Cross-Border Data Transfers

jilis primarily processes and stores personal data within data centre facilities located in or serving the Asia-Pacific region. Where personal data is transferred to service providers or systems in jurisdictions outside the Philippines, jilis ensures that adequate safeguards are in place, including contractual data processing agreements that impose obligations equivalent to those required under Republic Act No. 10173. jilis will not transfer personal data to any jurisdiction that does not provide an adequate level of data protection without implementing appropriate safeguards and, where required, obtaining your consent.

12 Changes to This Privacy Policy

jilis reserves the right to update or amend this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our data practices, Platform services, or applicable law. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via the email address on file at least fourteen (14) days before taking effect. The current version of this Privacy Policy will always be published at jilis.bio/privacy-policy with the effective date prominently displayed. Your continued use of the jilis Platform following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
